3 Aralık'ta başlayan, dünyanın hükümetleri Uluslararası Telekomünikasyon Birliği (ITU) adı verilen bir BM kuruluşu
önemli bir antlaşma güncellemek için bir araya gelecek. Bazı hükümetler, İnternet açıklık
ve yenilikçilik tehdit erişim maliyetleri artırmak ve online insan haklarını zedeleyebilir şekillerde İnternet yönetişimi İTÜ yetkisini genişletmek için teklif vardır.
